Graduation Short Film — Class of 2025
Two Kings is a graduation short film from the Class of 2025, now available on YouTube and on our school’s website.

Set during the fall of a burning city, the film follows an aging king urged by his son to flee amid an overwhelming battle. As the city collapses around them, the story unfolds through tension, conflict, and inheritance, telling the parallel journeys of a king in the making and a father who learns how to be a father once again.
Blending epic scale with intimate character drama, Two Kings reaches its climax in a devastated castle courtyard, a place shaped by war, memory, and transition.

My Roles on the Project
On Two Kings, I worked on the film both creatively and narratively:

Look Development & Texturing Supervisor
-
First Assistant Director (1st AD)
These two roles allowed me to contribute both to the visual identity of the film and to its production organization and storytelling rhythm.

Pipeline & Technical Approach
This project was an opportunity to dive deeply into USD workflows and Solaris, which proved to be a highly flexible pipeline.
Working in Solaris allowed me to iterate extremely quickly, updating assets almost instantly in the master scene while maintaining consistency across shots.

Here is a quick breakdown of the set, told by the DOP, Mathieu Keraudran who is also the Project Manager of the project.
